Kenya and Nairobi

Nairobi is the capital and largest city of Kenya. The name comes from the Maasai phrase Enkare Nairobi, which translates to “cold water”, a reference to the Nairobi River that flows through the city. The city has a developed road infrastructure, recently the Chinese made a highway through the city, which is raised on pillars and partially relieved the city. However, it is indescribably crowded at rush hour with old buses and vans, which represent the bulk of city transport, as over 1 million people migrate to and from work every day. Modern buildings and areas of cities show a clear picture of progress and wealth, while certain areas show all poverty.
